?A study published in??led by American Cancer Society (ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½) Population Science researchers?Ying Wang, PhD,?and?Alpa Patel, PhD?evaluated?whether people with a personal history of an obesity-related cancer could affect their risk of death from any cause, and death from cancer, in particular, based on how well they followed the?ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ Nutrition?and Physical Activity Guideline for Cancer Survivors.

Key findings:

People with or without cancer who met or exceeded physical activity?guidelines between the 2 years studied (2009 to 2011) reported much?less pain (lower intensity) compared to those who reported remaining?physically inactive for those 2 years.
